Dr. med. Tanya Panteleeva Siderova-Mavrodinova was born on 17 May 1937 in Varna (Bulgaria). Since the age of 3, she has been without her mother, who was only 25 years old, and thus had to grow up without maternal love and maternal affection. She was raised by her grandparents. She got a lot of love and affection from them. From her grandparents she has learned to treat the people around her with respect and love.

She began her education at the French College in Varna, where she learned until the fourth grade. Her father served with the border troops back then and promoted as head of the city border police and was transferred to another department, in the city of Ruse. There, in Russian, she also completes her education. There she also met her future husband, Mavrodin Mavrodinov, who studied at the military school in Russe. She later married the young lieutenant and moved with him to his Department in Shumen. There she also got her son Valentin in 1957.

Her husband completed there in 1964 the Military Academy and she in 1965 the First Medical Institute named Ivan Pavlov, where she got her diploma as a doctor.

After completing her studies, she got a job in rural health care, in the village Nikolaevka near Varna, where she worked as a doctor from 1965 to 1967. At the same time she was responsible for health care in surrounding villages Kalimantsi, Izgrev and Drandar. Her husband served during this time as an officer in the Bulgarian army in the city of Grudovo (now Sredez), which belonged to the military district of Burgas. From September 1967 Dr. Tanya Mavrodinova worked as a doctor of Social Services in Varna. In 1969 she wins the selection for the position as assistant at the renowned Medical University in Varna. In addition to the university, she also taught as a lecturer at the Medical Highschool. In parallel, she worked as a doctor in the hospital of the city of Varna under the direction of Prof. Bozadjieva. As a doctor, she also worked in the Naval Military Hospital Varna and later in the Regional Hospital Varna in the Department of Pulmonology, under the direction of Prof. Zlatan Zlatanov and then by Prof. Krassimir Kisov. After the new therapeutic block was built, the station moved to where she worked until her retirement. During this time, she defended her scientific work, for which she was awarded the scientific title as a candidate for medical science.

During her well-earned retirement she worked as a doctor in practice "Varna South" together with Dr. med. Georgieva, until the last day of her life (November 21, 2007).
